At today's meeting of PFSNI folks, it was decided that the group needed a more formal structure in order to facilitate representation in community organizations and on advisory committees. A temporary leadership team of Ann Freidle (Grad Ed), Stephanie Jones (Community Housing) and Brian Spooner ( Anthropology) has volunteered to write bylaws and make recommendations about elections and processes. They plan to report back by mid-December. A final draft of the bylaws will be presented to all PFSNI members for public discussion. It is anticipated that in the future PFSNI will have regular meetings as well as exchanges via email.
